So this is not my last post and not my first. this blog, column, magazine have seen many different shades of white. When I started back in 2006 i was not sure if I even where able to make it thru 1 week. But here I’am 5 years later, 1000 articles plus.

There are so many things that i’ve missed during the years but there are also so many things that i covered. So where do I want this little baby to go in the future? Frankly I don’t know. There are still a good bunch of you readers comming back every week, and there are still no new posts…

A couple of months ago Me and a friend started http://copygr.am a great service that lets you enjoy Instagram on your computer or iPad. My friend also runs the blog http://www.thecubetheory.com – and we also started http://danjan.se

So what are we doing right now? Well we are planning our move on version 2 of Copygram, it’s going to be awesome. We are also working some state of the art concepts for new online services.

Bare with me… I don’t know where we are going but I know one thing, I’ll always love design, architecture, music, videos, photography and cultural awareness.

I hade a vision when i started the blog www.wearesuperfamous.com, a vision that my friends would browse to the site, look at some nice links that i chose to share with them and the rest of the world. Then came Facebook, that vision was destroyed. Then all these awesome bloggers appeared, they are the new realm of media creators & duplicators just like me. They want to share, create the content that others browse and like…

So what happend to the vision, well my friends might pop in, I really get no feedback, sometimes I do don’t get me wrong but mostly nothing. But something extraordinary did happen, the reach, the globality, last two weeks numbers, with almost 5500+ cities represented is just beautiful, I wished i was better with info graphics, maybe some reader out there is a statistic freak and can do something beautiful.

So with this little touch of information, I just want to say thank you to all of you who visit the site regularly, and even though the speed of the posts vary, it glads me that you still come visit.

Fuck you and your iphone and your app store

Let’s start with a simple and powerful thank you! We just checked our 3rd quater stats, and we are covered by 100% of the worlds countries. We consider that being 100% international. I have a lot of bloggish friends big thanks to you, i tried really hard not making this just another blog, but many times it’s just that we are just another blog. We need to step out, become something more, without getting destroyed.

Do you have any thoughts? Ideas? comments? Please let us know, we are working on a re-make, but we want to keep the simple and clean layout, maybe get some nice new features, let us know your thoughts, you make this site possible not us.

So it’s time again, days just keep on running, but it’s like this when you have a blog, that you run out of pure joy from writing and spreading information, it takes time and when you don’t have the time the blog starts to suffer. Anyone out there willing to give some CPR?

I Don’t know if you still like the content? I don’t get as mush feed back as i did before, we are also glad to tell you that we are moving to (mt) Media Temple  And that there will be some downtime, but there is no need to worry!

Wow, this has gone fast, actually we celebrate our 1 year birthday on Friday, and we have no idea what we gonna do to celebrate that online. We need to give you readers something that you deserve but can’t really come up with anything. We do have some stuff up our sleeve but not quite done yet, right now I’m trying to figure out where we wanna be in another year, we know have a nice flow of readers, I mean that I’m very happy for all of you that visit daily or just time to time.

I know that there are times when we don’t update that frequent and we are terrible sorry for that, this is a site that we currently don’t make any money on, and we put in a lot of effort in scanning the web and updating it because of the pure joy of writing and sharing. So there are some natural causes to why we sometimes get less active than others. But in a near future we really hope for some change, not just a new president in the US but maybe a boost in readers and some small amount of money flow into the business so we can afford to take some hours of to deliver even better stuff.

New and Improved site

So welcome to the new and improved WeAreSuperFamous, we have been troubleshooting but there can always be some minor mistakes, if you find anything suspicious just comment.
Now to the introduction; we have some new features, if you turn your eyes twoards the right you will see a column with “this weeks” click an link to open up a bigger story on top of everything else and if you don’t wanna read it just click the big image that will appear and you close it back down.

So this week we have decided to give our swedish status to victoria silvstedt and we have done a review on Mobys latest album – Last night. We also discovered the awesomeness in the new Hellboy II – the golden army trailer, can’t wait for the movie to get out!

Another rad feature is that you can see what Me or Christian are listening to, we both have our own mixtapes that you find just to your right, click and it will open like a stand alone player, listen, minimize and share! and if you want to follow us on other communities online we have a bunch of them out in the right column!
