Lets sum the year 2010… Fixies, Beautiful mixed interior, Girls, Art, Photos, Videos, Amazing new artist, and YOU, the readers. We are not doing a lot with the site at the moment. We are still glad to see the numbers grow, we now have a weekly reach around 12.000 unique visitors. Last month you guys represented well over 150 countries and 1300 cites… When i first started to write and share… lets be honest, most sharing others great work with you I never thought I was going to reach 12.000 creatives each week… and not the wide range either.

We will be away for a month… planning on change, and new things for the site, we want to keep it simple, but as all companies we want to grow, be able to share more great things and maybe we can inspire others to be more than good, to be exceptional, aim for perfection. Thats something we haven’t done in a long time here. We are kind of in a loop… A loop where we just continue to share, kind of in Limbo.

So today I give you the year 2010 in 52 picked photos. And hopefully next year, in the beginning of december things will look a lot different, and more focused on YOU without just YOU and YOU this site is nothing, I want to share because i know people read and flick thru the photos, videos and music that we share.

Just to give a picture of whats going on in Chile. Everyone is on and off about Haiti, Chile needs help to, and there earthquake was far higher graded on the magnitude scale a blasting 8.8 magnitude compared to the 7.0 on Haiti. The photos are from boston.com and we just want to help spread the knowledge of this event. Happy friday, good morning fellas and dudettes. We take a little dive into the world of Mark Weaver, and some of his work form the flickr set “Make something cool everyday“.

This weekend, i might be spending infront of the computer trying to pull off some HTML stunts to get rid of some work thats laying around, that really need to be done. Or I might trying to fix the leak on my grandparents roof. But until monday, be safe and surf it with style. WASF will be here on monday… no worries.

RM Auctions did a couple of hours ago sell a 1957 Ferrari for the spectacular sum of 100 000 000 SEK (12 000 000$). Well in contrast to the 9000$ Lecia camera this is expensive even if you have the money, I want to know who bought it and if he or she is going to drive it on Autobhan!

Some of you might noticed Vincent Laforet for his Canon 5D Mark II Short Film. I got stuck for that too, but i also got stuck in his photography work, his New York interpretation, with high altitude shots and his way of capturing moments.

What i also got stuck with was his work with the Tilt-shift lens, as you might see on the photos above.
If you head over to his portfolio and skim it for a couple of minutes you might find something that you really like. I need some inspiration for my next Why I Think I Love New York, so if anyone have some inspiration for me, just comment it in this post.

Flickr Stream Of An Addict

I just got addicted, worse than ever i mean i love photography but i think I’m on the edge on real addiction. Today i learned some sweet stuff in photoshop, i also bought a new lens for my Nikon D40 (50mm f1.8) i can’t find words for the stokedness in the optics (and in me)

This weekend i also played around with the Nikon Kit Lens, 18-55mm i like it to, but hey you can’t compare it to the fixed optics, and the best part is that the cameras might change over the years but you will always have your Lenses. I borrowed my dads old Nikkor lenses from the 80′s and they preform very well, you have my word. I’ll try to post some images so you can see what over 20 year old lenses are worth.
During the mean time enjoy my NYC miniature and i do daily updates on my Flickr stream I have had my Nikon D40 for a while now and just give me a small hint if you would like me to review it for you, because i would love to do it! Well have a happy morning and enjoy your morning coffee – Over n’ Out

House to desire

I’ll admire and desire until the day i die, and I’ll do it with pride and self confidence. This house is just one of those things you admire, and somewhat just want to see every day of your life. Maybe not live in but at least see it, maybe having it as a neighbor. I’ll give you some more pictures just so you can get the feeling of it and the atmosphere that surrounds it.
Walking out this sliding door every sunday morning and taking a minor dip in that sweet looking pool wouldn’t be wrong.

Or reading your favorite Interior Design Magazine in this little library, relaxing in that special chair.

Or why not spend every night in this lovely, close to nature experience… Lets just say this is a house to love, if you live in it or just live by it. To see more photos and plans on the house click here

This is some amazing photos of the incredible eruption of Chile’s Chaitén volcano. The plume of ash is thought to generate enough static electricity to cause what is called a “dirty thunderstorm” here are the rest of the photos

iPhone 2.0 – RUMOURS + Photo

Update: leaked secrete picture of the new iphone 2.0
I went into my local 02 store today enquiring about the second iPhone (whilst i was browsing i overheard them talking about it already) She said they expect a 3G iPhone by end of june start of july. The second iPhone will have more memory and will start at 16GB instead of the 8GB. She also went onto say that it will have ALOT more features on it but she was not permitted to say. Colourwise she said she was expecting it to be all black or all white and wont be aluminium no more. (Which kinda put me off as i prefer the aluminium) The lady said they are attending a conference in the coming weeks so she’s hoping to find out some more.

4:40 PM 13 march UPDATE:
1. 16GB-32GB
2. white, silver and black available (16GB only in silver)
3. Lots of new features added (ok that’s nice and vague)
4. According to the Swiss – 16GB will cost $659 Swiss Francs, while a 32GB model will cost $799 Swiss Francs

This is a common thing people do with their computers take a photo of the behind in the right angel and then uses it as a background on their desktop and creates an illusion of a “see-trough-screen”. This is one of the most advance once I’ve seen though. Can’t find the origin photographer of this photo, but if anyone do please let me know!
