Vincent Laforet – Photographer Portfolio

Some of you might noticed Vincent Laforet for his Canon 5D Mark II Short Film. I got stuck for that too, but i also got stuck in his photography work, his New York interpretation, with high altitude shots and his way of capturing moments.

What i also got stuck with was his work with the Tilt-shift lens, as you might see on the photos above.
If you head over to his portfolio and skim it for a couple of minutes you might find something that you really like. I need some inspiration for my next Why I Think I Love New York, so if anyone have some inspiration for me, just comment it in this post.

Li Wei the man who made photography history

Li Wei born in 1970 in Beijing China, has become world wide recognized due to his ultra modern and gravity defying photos. Hanging horizontally out of skyscrapers and upside down 100 of feet’s up in the air, flying in mid air while rescuing girls sleeping on tree tops. Visit his site for more inspiration and to look at all his amazing work.

Flickr Stream Of An Addict

I just got addicted, worse than ever i mean i love photography but i think I’m on the edge on real addiction. Today i learned some sweet stuff in photoshop, i also bought a new lens for my Nikon D40 (50mm f1.8) i can’t find words for the stokedness in the optics (and in me)

This weekend i also played around with the Nikon Kit Lens, 18-55mm i like it to, but hey you can’t compare it to the fixed optics, and the best part is that the cameras might change over the years but you will always have your Lenses. I borrowed my dads old Nikkor lenses from the 80′s and they preform very well, you have my word. I’ll try to post some images so you can see what over 20 year old lenses are worth.
During the mean time enjoy my NYC miniature and i do daily updates on my Flickr stream I have had my Nikon D40 for a while now and just give me a small hint if you would like me to review it for you, because i would love to do it! Well have a happy morning and enjoy your morning coffee – Over n’ Out

Todd Eberle Photos of Louis Kahn House

Architectural photographer Todd Eberle has photographed Esherick House, a 1961 home in Philadelphia. The designer/architect behind this amazing building is Louis Kahn, an architect before his time. This house, a capsule in time that really puts the 50′s and 60′s super cubic era on photo is truly a one of a kind.

When Eberle photographed this house he said; “The house is a monument to Kahn’s rigorous vision, which made me fully grasp Donald Judd’s deep admiration of Kahn.”

These photographs were commissioned by Chicago auctioneer Wright, and will go out for auction on the 18th of May.
