So if you haven’t noticed I take loads of photos, and I work in photoshop almost everyday. But I don’t get to play around with photoshop so when I do the result vary. This is my submission for this weeks photo in the group Fabulös & Korthuggen on flickr. Every week we post a new photo, so it’s sort of a 52 week group with a new theme every week. This weeks addition to the flickr pool F&K (Fabulös & Korthuggen). The theme was Bokeh and I went out for a little photo session with Tessan and Mimmi, both members of the group. I got a bunch of great Bokeh photos, but something told me this was the one to use, so I went with it. What do you think?
Hey, 4 weeks until christmas and I updated my Photo setup. Went from Nikon to Canon… Got my self the Canon Eos 7D, together with a prime lens, Sigma EX 30mm f1.4 and a wide-angle zoom lens Tokina PRO 16-55mm f2.8. Got a reflector with sunlight and white side. Also equipped the 7D with a battery grip and extra battery.
So why did i go from Nikon to Canon? First the ability to record 1080p video with so big variety when it comes to lenses, and second the price range, the 7D is from 1899$ and compared to the Nikon d300s the Canon seemed like the better option. Why not the Canon Eos 5D mark ll?! Well i like to shot action photography and the 5D does 3 bps… the 7D does 8. And that’s the only reason for me. i would love that big sexy 1:1 sensor in the 5D, but however I don’t work as a photographer and feel no need of a 1:1 camera.

This is a little something I just tried out, first video i shot with the Canon 7D it’s in 720p and 50bps.
Verdict:
So after shooting with this beauty for a weekend, I feel like I’ve done a good decision. I might want to get one or two more lenses, but so far I enjoy the Sigma 30mm f1.4. The build of the 7D is great, as a High End consumer gadget, it’s just amazing, makes my Nikon d40 feel like plastic junk. You have so many add-ons on the Canon, if you shoot video you can build on with external mics, you can rig it on a shoulder mount. If you shoot studio the flash unit controls external flashes to, new for the 7D. The 18mpx APS sensor is great to, there are some noise trouble on the higher ISOs BIG BUT I don’t care, there is a little less noise in the 5D mark ll, but not enough to make me consider it instead.

I have a lot of bloggish friends big thanks to you, i tried really hard not making this just another blog, but many times it’s just that we are just another blog. We need to step out, become something more, without getting destroyed.

There was another idea from the beginning, but we had some wine so i couldn’t drive to the place i wanted to take the shots. But i got great results.

Blossa 09 Glögg, taken thru a sphere of glass, makes this an very impulse shot. No planning, just an idéa i got when i was in the apartment on my way to my dad to celebrate Fathers day.

I connect breastcancer with my mom, she just been thru hell, and i could have taken a photo of her, but i wanted to try a set design, and well who is better at suporting than Mona Lisa?! I think she is doing a great job.

2 shots, one at the set, and one at a stained paper, 2 layers in photoshop, blendmode = overlay. One additional layer, saturation layer with a mask on the Pinkribbon. Thats it. First I need to speak free, this is not a inspiration post, not a review, not a cool gadget, it’s just me, Linus speaking out. My grandfather passed away last Thursday, therefor no posts the last week, there is no inspiration in me right now. This is why it’s hard being a guy writing a blog, I’m not posting “daily outfit photos” nor any shopping tips. I don’t write how much money i spend on shopping, i write about things, objects, people, experiences that inspire me. My grandfather inspired me.
So right now I’m not so comfortable with writing about anything, I will try to write something about my grandfather Jan Opiola, who passed away on the 24th of September 2009, I’m so sorry for not doing this earlier, grandpa.

Just fnished a big project, i’ve re-designed winternet.se (the business that i work for). I’ve started out with a blank paper, and a pencil. This is the finished product, no CMS this is just freehand HTML & CSS. So lately i’ve been of the blogosphere, but thats due to sercomstances just like this. Work is hectic right now and i will try my best to blog a post or two in the evenings. THANK YOU for hanging in there!

I’m working on a automated service, where you without login can attach your spotify HTML link, and name the playlist, tag it with artists, and you can click playlists and tell if you like them or not.
You will also be able to search in terms like, “summer 09 mix” or “Sweden top 100″ or maybe if you like house, you can search for “sweet house mix”
The idea is to get you into new music, if you are a frequent user of Spotify you know that the library is huge and that the problem is that you can’t really see other users playlists, here is a way of sharing those really good playlists.
So I’m in the development stadium now, and this is one of the blueprints that are online, you can find it here (there can be problems viewing in IE 7 and down right now, so for the best view in FF or IE 8, Safari or Opera)

Just nu jobbar jag med en användarstyrd sajt där du utan att logga in kan ladda upp en HTTP länk ifrån Spotify, namnge den, tagga med artister, du har möjlighet att klicka på ett hjärta eller att bara klicka och så sjunker listan i popularitet.
Det kommer att vara möjligt att söka på termer som “sommer mix 09″ eller “sverige top 100″, det kommer vara just det som vi saknar på Spotify, hur man delar med sig av musiken på ett smart sätt.
Hela idén är baserad på att du ska få möjlighet att lyssan på ny musik, som du inte kommit i kontakt med men som du med stor säkerhet gillar. Problemet med Spotify som sådant, är att biblioteket är enormt, men om man inte vet var man ska söka på blir kvaniteten onödig och kvaliteten sjunker, men kan man däremot nå bra musik på ett lätt sätt så blir kvantiteten ovärderlig. (Just nu är det lite problem med IE 7 och lägre så använd gärna en modernare webläsare, IE 8, Firefox, Safari, eller Opera)
