Just made my morning, this is Kanye West new album: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, this is the banned album art, wich made them pixelate this version for the one that shows on spotify and other sites. There are two songs that are superb if you ask me, first of the one featuring Bon Iver, Lost In The World. (link to spotify) and also Kanye West – Monster featuring Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Jay-Z. Also the first track on the album Dark Fantasy is a killer.

The concept goes, i’ve told a friend that if he creates a great and controversial cover he will be famous. And then people will notice how good he is. And Madison form New York did just this with a Super8 Camera!! FTW!! and then digitalized it and hooked it up on youtube so her Lill’ wayne Cover MADSTYLE is now up there. Then Perez Hilton wrote about it and then Kanye West wrote about it. Madison is a true internet success story and we love the remake.

Hip-hop and fashion extraordinaire along with alot of other things, Kanye West is finally ready to unleash his latest project to the world. Months and months of hype have built up, including speculation of collaborations with Nigo of A Bathing Ape Fame, and Jonas Bevacqua from L-R-G among other highly acclaimed fashion designers. But Kanye has come back with British designer Kim Jones who was recently appointed Creative director of Dunhill and named designer of the year by the British Fashion Council. Also made famous when he made the collection Umbro by Kim Jones

In a recent magazine article some previews are given which features some of the line modelled by Kanye himself, label-mate Rhianna and fellow rapper Lupe Fiasco. Check out the pics below, although it is not enough for me to make a judgement on, but I’m sure Kanye will come through with something that will blow us away.

Since we are doing some retro hip hop posts i taught it would be nice to post this! Retro video with some synth/bass sound… Kid Sister from Chicago has a great sound and she has a lot of nice things on her Myspace.

Kid Sister ( Melissa Young was born in 1980 ) she is originally from Markham, Illinois but now Chicago based. Her break trough came with her singel “Pro Nails” featuring Kany West.

The cool thing is that she started rapping in October 2005, became an MC at a monthly dance place in Chicago and it did not take long until she was featured on MTV’s My Block.Give it up for Kid Sister!
