Part(a)y House Brazil by Marcio Kogan

Elegant, calm, minimalist, clean and beautiful are among the adjectives that can be used to describe almost all of Marcio Kogan’s much-publicized and much-awarded residential masterpieces.

The magnificent, streamlined residences must serve as an antidote of some sort to the Brazilian architect who has been quoted as saying that he loves his home town of São Paulo and New York because they are similar in their chaotic ugliness, and because he likes “energy, chaos and a multi-cultural population in a city.”

House in Spain

I always loved Spain, i love wine, and vineyards to. A big dream of mine is that one day own a vineyard and sell a small quantity of wine every season. This house i located in just Spain but not on the main land but on the vacation island of Mallorca.
It’s not one of my favorite styles on a house but i still like it in some aspects, what do you think?

I want this House, California Modernist

There are a few things in life that i really want, the first is a house that is worthy the title house in my eyes and i wanna sketch it my self. Then there is kids, who doesn’t want them? So this house is just spectacular, it feels a bit cold on the outside, but the heat and warmness from the inside just shines thru those big windows, and the interior, I’m a big minimalism fan mixed with items that you hold close to your heart. Who could think that a sofa made out of concrete could look so cosy? Full slideshow here

Keep your desk clean – improve your creativity

Well its for sure that i need a better working space, right now I’m writing from the kitchen window, a fantabiulous place, but i need more space, and a better chair. But as long as your working area is clean it’s scientifically proved that it increases your productivity and creativity. Well now I’m of for lunch and a pice of clean air. ETree Floor Lamp

Etree

This has to be one of the weirdest but funkiest lamp’s i have ever seen. ETree is an electroluminescent lamp which invites the user to interact with it by moving its strands of light and playing with them. The lamp has ten luminous branches which can be moved and shaped to suit you room. The lamp doesn’t come cheap, it will cost you in the region of £760 – get it here

Modern Kitchen

When it comes to kitchens, Im sold, i just love kitchens they are the hearth of houses. If you don’t have a working kitchen you don’t have a working home. I like the kitchen to be big but still cosy, i like spacious because i know i need it, but i also wanna fit in the office in the kitchen. That might seem strange to a lot of people but i love having the office in the kitchen area or right next to it. Fact number one; It’s so near the coffee machine, fact two; the kitchen is the heart, the family will go trough and you will meet them, fact number three; I simply love kitchens.

This eating space is from the same kitchen as the picture on top. I love the raw feel about it and at the same time it feels like this kitchen got soul. The mix of industrial and old home, wooden shelfs, the simplicity in the chairs. This is something that really speaks to me. What do you guys think?!

Eco friendly house by Kjellgren & Kaminsky

This house from Kjellgren & Kaminsky architects It’s a low energy cost, where the household machines support the heating of the house. This is one of the houses, a cylinder shaped one with an Atrium in the middle.

The houses was presented at the Hem & Villa House Fair in Malmö earlier this month. The houses are very well isolated and need minimal heating sources. “Now we will make these buildings achievable for everyone.” – says Joakim Kaminsky

The Dream House

Often when i look at architecture i look at the structure, the weldings in the steel (if there are any) i look at the lines, the shadows. Even tough it’s only a picture i try to visualize what it smells like and how the humidity is in the area. This House is one of those that just made drop the chin to the floor and if i’d ever built a house this will be hugh inspiration to it.

The concrete and the rawness on the outside, meets the minimalism and pureness on the inside. I can imagine, decorating it with nice fabrics, and dark hardwood floors.

This house is worth a reading, hit over to the Platformaarcitectura
