So if you dissect your old cannon lens you’ll end up with something similar like this. When the lens stopped to work, young photographer here decided to take it apart he ended up with a bunch of rings, wires and other camera stuff. Check out album here

Leica M8.2 – To afford it you have to sell your soul

Here is the Leica M8.2 and it kicks the little brothers M8′s ass, not really that hard but there are some updates. It features an ultra scratch-resistance sapphire crystal LCD display, for those days when you really feel like scratching your camera screen. There are a bunch of modes on the camera, full manual ofcourse and also some Auto modes for those who don’t wanna bother using manual mode.

It’s available in two different colors, black or brushed metal (silverish). The camera is the real deal if you see to what you get. If this was like a car it would be that Lamborghini that gave you all the chicks. To bad you have to sell your soul to afford it, or at least sell something to cover that 6,200$ bill.

I love this commercial, it goes in the same spirit as the Bravia commercial’s and some of Sony’s PS3 commercial’s. However the lack of the sportiness and functionality that Jose Gonzalez’s “heartbeats” Im not saying that the current music made by Warren Ellis is bad in anyway, but i will not associate it with sony if it ever will be played on radio or anywhere else. Impressions of the Sigma DP1

The Sigma DP1 is an old school looking killer pocket camera, Actually its more of a dSLR in a compact body. It uses the same full-sized, 14 megapixel Foveon X3 image sensor found in Sigma’s SD14 dSLR, and its 16.6mm F4 lens is equivalent to a standard 28mm offering. Providing low distortion, high contrast images, in other words it rock! Said Karlsson is a photographer who at the moment lives in Tokyo and is a happy owner of the DP1.
