Windows phone 7 Series

So the big buzz today has been the Windows Phone… So what about it? As far as i can tell, it’s a phone with a UI that i would get sick n tired of in a day or to, and well it lets you update your facebook status from where ever you are, browsing contacts or listening to music, you can update your FB status. You can also connect to xbox live, and also there update or comment on FB feeds.

It’s not that i don’t like someone giving Apple a big kick in the ass so they fix stuff, but this is far from a new Jesus phone, it’s just another gimmick that tries to ride on a social media wave, let FB be FB and twitter be twitter, i don’t want FB feeds on my phone all day long, sure it’s cool and chick, but what if I’m at a meeting, should be phone be hitting me with FB streams?

One good thing in this is that in the “Apps” commercial they are giving Apple another kick for the multitasking failure… We fanboys do believe that a thing like that will be fixed in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 and with this lame Windows Phone the nextgeneration iPhone hopefully will kick some windows ass.

What do we think of the iPad

So the iPad is soon here for us to enjoy. But what do we think about it? It’s truly an amazing product, it has the Apple level of detail and finish from what we can see from the photos and videos that already floats on the internet. Do we think that it’s going the change the way we communicate via computers, social networks and how we surf the web… FUCK YEAH!

You might think we are just a bunch of FAN Boys that just want to write nicely about the iPad… We are not. We love Apple but they to can make products of lower level of use… Like the Apple TV. Ofcourse we got one, but we never use it. How is the iPad different from the Apple TV? In many ways its similar, looks like a giant iPod Touch… Just like the Apple TV looks like a Mac Mini with eating disorders.

But there the similarities ends, the iPad is just great, it’s NOT a computer and it’s not a iPhone… It’s a pad. We are going to have them in our kitchens, in our living rooms, our kids will use them, play on them, communicate with friends on them, they will multitask… They will let you sit in the sofa and read a magazine or book, and you will discover a new world, where magazines not only contains one image, they will have many, they will be able to play movies, they will be dynamic, sweet looking and the way of the future.

Our view on the iPad can not be written down in words on a blog, they must be done into an eBook that will sell on the iBook store… Yes a virtual book store, so now apple will change the way we read, libraries are old, but the iBook store is new and funky fresh. Together with the iTunes U store this product will also revolutionize the way schools work. It’s highly portable and has a whopping 10 hour battery life and 30 days standby… It’s just beautiful.

Jonathan Ive and Steve Jobs together with all of the wonderful staff at Apple inc has done it again, mark our words, this device will change our way of life.

Booooom Chica Bow Wow, Green & Sweet Jony Ive and A new Stunning Aluminum MacBook Line Up

So where do i start, alot of online magazines, blogs and Mac fan boys are writing their hands off about the new MacBook and the new MacBook Pro. I saw another angle on this, i was looking at the Gizmodo live update stream, jumped over to apple.com and watched the new MacBook movie. And there he was, Jonathan Ive on of the worlds most talented industrial designer of our time. So i thought why don’t i write about this from another perspective. We are not used to see Jony Ive in the spot light, and here we see him in a way that i think we will see him more of in the future. People are throwing guesses about who most certainly will take over when Steve Jobs steps down, I think that someone is Jony Ive. I know there are a lot of you that wouldn’t agree but something deep inside me say that Jonathan is our man.

The British designer and the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple. He re-designed the way we use a cell phone, yeah thats right, the iPhone he also designed the iMac, aluminum PowerBook G4 (and MacBook Pro) todays MacBook and New MacBook Pro and the little giddy MacBook Air, iPod and iPhone. So thats why i think he will take over from good old Steve, he got the same principles when it comes to form, design & leadership. I see Jony as a really talented designer with some serious management skills. If you are into get a updated interview with Ive thats hard to get, when he often choices not to be part of the Media tense. But now it seems like someone (maybe Steve) participate in that sweet little movie. I personally hope that we will see more of Jonathan in the future of apple, and i crave more of that nifty timeless sweet design of his.

Here are some images on the new MacBook. Here we can see the new Battery Indicator, placed on the front, witch makes me wonder how the bottom of this pice of candy looks like.

Here in that Bokehy part of the photo you see a hint of that GLASS & black part of the LED display.

And yes we will have the black backlit keyboard that we have seen on the MacBook Air. And yes even the consumer line will have the backlit version, if we still can call it a consumer line product.

This is what the little beauty looks like from above, it still have almost the same dimensions, a bit thinner but the aluminum casing (witch is made from a single block of aluminum) is just stunning, personally i’ve been waiting on a full aluminum product line from Apple for a while and i must say, it’s epic and timeless.

Lets round this up with a frontal view of the new and sweet MacBook, if you want a full technical spec list head over to the www.apple.com/macbook/ site and you will have all the tech info you need. So what can we make of this, I’m stoked over the new Line Up and in the future i want more Jonathan Ive, do you agree or I’m I completely of track?

Apple starts its own channel on YouTube

For those of you who have missed it, Apple has decided to start the own channel on YouTube. Which I think is a great idea and it seems like im not the only one. The channel has received an enormous amount of visitors since its launch on September 25.

Currently there are not that many videos online but I hope that there will be more and particularly the old classics that one perhaps have forgotten. To check out there channel click here.

Examples of a classic, you have above, directed by Ridley Scott in 1984.

iPod Touch 2 generation

So i wrote a little note about the 4g iPod Nano, and well you might now that apple also released the 2g iPod Touch as well. The new iPod Touch has features such as a stainless steel back case in the same sleek design as the iPhone 3G. It has 2 new volume buttons (placed at the same spot as on the iPhone 3G). A Multi-Touch user interface, App store support, and built-in accelerometer and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi – for those cranking hotspots and home Wi-Fi zone. What is really good is a built-in speaker and the new iTunes 8 Genius feature, and built-in Nike+ support… Finally!! Available in 8GB ($230), 16GB ($300) and 32GB ($400) models. www.apple.com/ipodtouch/

ps. I love it when they use my favorite movie in their commercials and photo shoots.

The new iPod Nano a thin piece of technology

So it’s here, the new iPod Nano, hell yeah it’s both thinner and way more sleek looking that we could ever imagine. There are some new features, the genius playlist function and an accelerometer so it knows if its horizontal or vertical. The battery life is 24 hours for music and 4 hours for video, there are also an new function that makes it possible to record sound via a mic if you have it in your earplugs. 8 new colors and Greenpeace loves it, so ECO friendly iPods way to go Stevie.

iPhone caught on Fire

23 year old Emil Ahlén woke up to the smell of burnt plastic, and he looked down on the floor where he had put his iPhone before he got to sleep and yes there where flames coming out of the charger socket, and the plastic that surrounds the charger socket was molten, he quickly got hold of an towel and successfully killed the fire. Now however the Swedish company that sells the iPhone TELIA wont help him they have been tossing the iPhone between them and Apple for a couple of days, and Apples spokes man in Sweden is not giving media any information, he tells us to wait for the spokes man in England to give a press release.

Since the release of the Apple iPhone world wide the 11th of july the hype has been huge and they have sold a lot of phones, i just hope for the sake of the rest of us iPhone users that this is an isolated situation. And that Steve Jobs helps Emil Ahlén in this case, show some of the Apple goodwill.
