Let’s be completely honest with ourselves, this might be one of the most impressive setups on the globe. Then take it to the next level, picture thousands of people in front of you, screaming, jumping, shouting, being all happy on life or drugs…. Then you just press play on tape… BOOOM! Magic happens.

I’m not too excited over this blogish stop I got going right now. I’m working really hard on some projects I got going, and work takes up a lot of the time. And the WASF™ team is also divided into smaller projects and doings. So I’m looking for one or two talented and internet trendy faces. It dosen’t matter if you are in China or in Argentina. Nialler9 informs us that Four Tet and Caribou’s Dan Snaith are readying a split vinyl release through Four Tet main man Kieran Hebden’s Text Records imprint. Below, you can stream a radio rip of Four Tet’s shuffling, groove-heavy contribution, “Pinnacles”, that was played on BBC Radio host Giles Peterson’s show recently (via Consequence of Sound); you can also check out Snaith’s contribution under his new alias Daphni, the dark, driving “Ye Ye”. According to Caribou’s Soundcloud page, the split is “soon to be released.”
