This is Manhattan, more than 100 years ago, mankind has accomplished so many things in that century. We have made the earth nearly impossible to inhabit, we have pulled out to much oil from the soil we live on. And we have made technical break troughs that are to me, unbelievable. I like this shot of the Columbus Circle, it makes me realize that we are just humans, and not so many years ago, we where very primitive and had no idea about the future, we still don’t and we are not brighter in our minds, we are however still humans and we fight to survive. This is columbus circle today… We are here to stay.
I’ll admire and desire until the day i die, and I’ll do it with pride and self confidence. This house is just one of those things you admire, and somewhat just want to see every day of your life. Maybe not live in but at least see it, maybe having it as a neighbor. I’ll give you some more pictures just so you can get the feeling of it and the atmosphere that surrounds it. Walking out this sliding door every sunday morning and taking a minor dip in that sweet looking pool wouldn’t be wrong.
Or reading your favorite Interior Design Magazine in this little library, relaxing in that special chair.
Or why not spend every night in this lovely, close to nature experience… Lets just say this is a house to love, if you live in it or just live by it. To see more photos and plans on the house click here
Hey and sorry for being out of news, it’s summer here and we are getting into the position where we work more and harder with other stuff then WASF. However, we will try our best to keep the news flowing and maybe turn down a bit on the quantity and express our selves in quality.
So we hope to see you guys in here a lot, and to continue delivering good quality content because you deserve it.

Big Buck Bunny from Blender Foundation on Vimeo.

I’n defiantly not the biggest soccer fan on earth but i do like my country and when its Europe Championship i need to give it to you that i like soccer more than i do when its just regular season. So this is one of those commercials that runs on National TV in Sweden right now. Embarrassing!? Yes!! Totally Rad!? Yes! and it’s cool just because the english language is so badly pronounced, i can tell you that it sound like a lot of the swedes here. Enjoy!
There are people out there that say that the japanese water driven car is a hoax, well how do they stand up to this?! Watch the video, brings plasma cutter from just distilled water, burns over 13 000°F.
UPDATE
Some people have emailed us and told us this is a hoax, well im not sure if they are hired from the gasoline companies or if they don’t get it. You plug this thing into a wall socket, add electricity and then the electrolyses starts and from the water you gain HHO - gas or Oxyhydrogen
lets face it it’s not good looking and it’s not the biggest car you have seen, but its a big step for mankind, and it’s what we need to evolve from the darkness of crude oil time. It’s time for us to move forward and no more backwards! Check out this video and please spread the word about this car, because the world needs it. GENEPAX.co.jp
Giving you some more hot news on the Dubai front, the Burj Dubai building is not getting closer to the finish line… Just some facts, the total floor area of the building will be the same as, 66 soccer fields stacked together (334.000 SqM) or 4.560 offices. The estimated height is 814 meters and 160 floors. The 7th of April 2008 Burj Dubai became the tallest man-made structure on Earth.
Let’s just face it, Dubai is the place on earth that moves fastest right now. Not just when it comes to economics, but building and people moving in as well. Just a couple of days ago Dubai Prince laid an offer on Chrysler building in New York City ($ 4,6 Billion) and some new sea side villas, like the one on top here are planned in the gulf outside Dubai shores.
I’ll give you a bit of text to this one, the Webbys took place in New York City. The entire thing was kicked of by Tay Zonda singing the national anthem and Sarah says it was awesome, Enjoy!

This place is incredible it’s located on Sweden’s largest island Gotland, the old industrial building has been transformed from its original state to a hotel and a restaurant.
This is not like any other restaurant, its built inside an old 50’s construction building, the place Furillen made concrete once in time. And know it’s one of the hypest hotels in the entire world. With beds from Hästens for $79 000 each, and each room has a Bang&Olufsen state of the art sound systems. Interior from old Skeppshult, and loads of other high end brands.
So if you have the roads past the beautiful island Gotland you must visit Hotel Furillen, i’ve made a flickr search for you guys so hit the photostream here this is so you can get a feeling of the place. Did i mention the food? Worldclass…
"This weeks Swedish" Is where we will try to highlight something or someone from Sweden. First up is busty blonde uber babe Victoria Silvstedt.
Since there is so much talk about Sweden and whether polar bears really walk the streets and if there is blonde beauty's everywhere I can tell you this much. One of these things are true, and it's not the the bears.
I know I could do this the easy way and just post a bunch of pictures and I bet most of you would be pleased. But since we here over at superfamous are a bit more "cultured" here is the 3 minute biography of swedish sweetheart Victoria.
Victoria grew up in a family of five in a small village in northern sweden. She became a world class member of the Swedish National Ski Team at an early age, unfortunately a shoulder injury at the age of 16 put an stop for Victoria's Ski career
Instead she entered the 1993 Miss Sweden Beauty Pageant. She was declared the winner and it was off to the 1993 Miss World Pageant. Here Victoria became a finalist and was discovered by a Parisian modeling agent and began a career in high fashion. Working for companies such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino and Giorgio Aramani.
In 1996 she was offered an opportunity to do a "quick photo shoot" for Playboy.
Which turned into December 1996 Playmate of the month and later 1997 Playmate of the year.
Victoria has since then worked with brands such as Nike, Renault, Coors, Radisson and many more.
She has also done a few movies. Amongst them one of my all time favorite
comedies Baseketball where Victoria does an outstanding performance.

To start off this new release with a new site we also start off by giving you a review on the latest album from Moby - Last Night. And to start with i need to amplify that Im really not a super duper fan of all Moby's musical work, but i do like him very much.
This album, Last Night got out 5 days ago on april 1st, but I've had the pleasant pleasure to been able to listen to it for almost 2 weeks now, and i have to tell you that the first time you listen to the album you kinda just go with the flow, and the typical Moby sound is there somewhere lurking in the darkness of the disco electro pop tunes. Over all a nice music experience, but as most of you know to really get to now an album you need to listen to it at least 3 times to be able to have something to say about each track or the whole album itself.
So i had lots of time to do just that and boy can i tell you that i really, i mean really from the bottom of my swedish music hearth like this album. The typical Moby sound that i was looking for in the beginning just disappeared, and now i can truly say that the "ooohh yeah..." with a flangered voice do turns me on. As one of Moby's poster says, "Disco Lies" and also the name on one of the tracks... It truly does, disco must be the music genre that lies the most.
To just quick hit the disco subject, i just hate those competitions in Disco dancing, where the competitors wave their hands and arms in big circles and for some reason try to fly! All this to some euro disco pumed-up song that really sucks. Thats a good comparing to what "Disco Lies" stands for, a lying disco dancer form eastern Europe high on street drugs.
Everyday it's 1989, well if you want the song with the most Moby feeling to it, thats the one. This retro, 80's / 90's return is something that i LOVE, yes call me a toy boy, or future hater, or just call me whatever you want, but know one thing, Moby is the architecture of sound, he lives in his one man studio on manhattan, eco lover, just want to party and live life. But even though he is a "Geek" he is truly an architecture of sound, he makes tunes that make your entire body wanna jump up and down endlessly until your brain almost but you in a coma. The sweetness and clearness in Mobys sound is something that makes him stand out in a crowd, also the fact that he is one of our times masterminds when it comes to sample and creating beats.
So to wrap this small review up, get the album, if you don't like Moby, you will after you listen to it. And if you like Moby this is a must have in your digital or analog collection. Super hyped steroid disco dancers in a underground music club, jumping screaming for more sampling by Moby, thats what this Album is all about.

Incredible, this must be the one of this years sweetest movies, along with Iron Man.
Did not find any good Flash embed to show here and frankly i don't have anything special to write about it either, i just want you to watch it!
Q:How come you got involved with design and art?
A: I've been drawing since I was little and I've always read a lot of comic books so probably that lead to illustration; movies and music where the ones that got me interested on design. My first job on the field was at the motion based studio Punga, working with them really pushed my interests to the next level.
Q:Does it run in the family? (The interest for design and art /fashion)
A: Not really, my father was an engineer all his life and my mother is a journalist, but maybe my brother is the closest one from what I am doing, he is studying to become an architect.
Q: How old are you? And do you think ages has anything to do with your sense for art and style?
A: I'm 23 and I think that the sense for art and style depends more on your personal interests than what age you have. Maybe some recent design graduates have similar style 'cause of their education structure; but it all depends on how much you love what you do, either you stay in a kitty sand box all your life or you become a great artist.
Q: You have done some amazing art that is influenced by Daft Punk, do you like Daft Punk? and if you do what's your favorite song?
A: Daft Punk is amazing, I went to one of their shows and I got blown away by it. My favorite song is Humans after All, it really gets me going. It will sound weird but I don't feel so inspired by it, love all the looks but what really blows my mind is At the Drive In, Mars Volta, Battles and bands like that.
Q:What is your favorite treat? ( like candy or other sweetness )
A: If you open my fridge you will only find candy and vodka, not food. So that's probably my favorite "treat".
Q: Give us a top ten on what's most played on your ipod!!
A: At the Drive In, Mars Volta, Battles, The Blood Brothers, Finch, Elliott Smith, Explosions In The Sky, Daft Punk, Ratatat and Radiohead, in no particular order!
Q: How fast do you run 1 mile?
A: HAHA that's weird. I used to run 14 miles in 50 minutes, so I think about 4 minutes the mile.
Q:Is there an artist you like or respect in particular? Some one who inspires you?
A: There are many artists that I met and really respect and admire, but there are 2 particular that I had the pleasure to work with. Tomy Di, the director of Punga (www.punga.tv), I learned a lot from him and apart from his great talent, he's a great person and friend. The past months I've been working with Roy Garcia at Rock Instrument Bureau (www.rockinstrumentsite.com.ar) , and like Tomy, he's a guy that really respect and admire, really inspiring person to work with. There is another designer that I would love to meet, his name is Alex Trochut (www.alextrochut.com), I think he is one of the greatest new wave designers in the world.
Q:Now to conclusion, tell the readers on wearesuperfamous some good chosen words and a thank you for giving me radical respect "speech"!!
A: There isn't much to say about it, I really love what I do and I hope some day I will get my name up, I never gave a reason for my father to feel proud of me, I hope some day I will even If he is not here anymore. No matter what happens, no matter how difficult it gets; if you love what you do, just keep going.
