670 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque all of which was achieved through simply optimizing the engine’s valve timing and tweaking the air intake system.

I have had the opportunity to test Sony Ericsson’s forthcoming mobile phone Xperia X1 for a couple of days. Here’s my first views on this phone. 

The first thing that strikes me when I got is was how small it was, Sure I had that it was small. But most often thats just talk. But in this case it was really true. If you look at what this phone contains, a full QWERT keyboard and still it is not greater than, for example the Sony Ericsson K850 or Nokia N82. 

I have previously questioned the use of a qwerty keyboard & thought it was unnecessary and, above all very inflexible. But the more I used the X1, the more I liked to have access to the keyboard. 

But what separates this phone compared with many others is that there are so many navigation options, you can use the keyboard to lots of things but then you have a touch screen and an optical mouse that makes you really easy to navigate quickly in the phone. You simply choose the approach that is best for the job you are doing in the phone. Moreover the phone feels very solid and well built. 

Looking at the content we find Windows Mobile, an operating system that I’m not quite fond of and this is not because I am an “apple fan boy” (okay maybe a little). But the biggest reason is that I have always thought it to be very messy and small, hard to navigate simply. Fortunately, Sony Ericsson’s solved this largely with their appearance as the so called X panel. Which means that you can easily navigate between a number of panels or desktops, which then contains different things. For example a desktop that is made for browsing, one that is made for listening to music and so on. 

The only disadvantages I can think of is maybe the format, if you have a big hands. Then it can possibly be a little difficult to use the keyboard, but I’m not sure. Then there is Windows Mobile, most often you only navigate through the X panels. But sometimes you encounter Windows in the background and then it just doesn’t look as fresh. But despite this, it is absolutely thumbs up for this phone.

The concept is to create a car which is designed to evolve within the cities of the future, whilst retaining the key values of the 21st century, Sounds good to me and looks even better if you check out the finalists here. 

There is some really cool rides! The question is, will we ever see any of these in production? I for one hope so.

Correct lightning in a room is often the key element to make the room look perfect. I mean there is a reason why you almost never see a room in daylight if you watch a home makeover program or in a magazine. LIP is an old French watch company founded in 1807 by Emmanuel Lipman. But it was during the 1900s the company became a great success in France. During its greatness they made 300 0000 watches a year. Unfortunately, the company found itself in crisis when the quartz-work came & cheap Japanese watches entered the market.

An attempt to rescue the company were to hire a gang of young designers from areas such as space, air, pop culture. Including Roger Tallon. (Tallon designed Mach 2000 series)

Unfortunately, this was not enough to save the company, and it later went bankrupt. Which of course meant that these futuristic watches produced, quickly became a valuable collector’s item.

But in recent years the company has resurfaced & now with a vintage series, So now you have the chance to acquire these “modern classics” if in reprints.

As you may know, Versace has been involved in Lamborghinis appearance once before, when it was Murcielago who received a new interior. Now is the time for the badass LP640 to wear the Versace logo.

Personally, I’d rather have had this car in it’s original raw performance, Pimpin it for the catwalk aint my thing. But if someone had given me this “versace edition”, I wouldn’t have become all too upset either.

To be honest I’m more of a pool table guy, but when a football table looks this good, Then I’m in! I really want this table it’s so slick and smooth. Designed by Per GRO Design and Tim Modelmaker it will exhibit during Milan Design Week.

Designer Diddo Velema together with Gucci and Luis Vuitton has designed these stylish gas masks. I have ha hard time seeing Navy Seals running around with these, I’m not sure they will be taken seriously if they do. But I wouldn’t mind having one of my one.
