Another tuesday, another reason why i think i love New York. The first reason was the cobble stone, the second reason that i mentioned a little bit last time is the fact that there is a hugh park in the middle of one of the worlds metropolitan cities. When i say hugh i defiantly mean it, its almost one kilometer wide, and stunning four kilometers long (40°46′55″N 73°57′58″W). You know that i come from a small town in Sweden with aprox 20 000 inhabitants within the city core, if i just give you some fast facts, central park has 25 000 000 visitors every single year. It was built 1857, witch makes it 151 year old. (it did not open until 1859 so it will most certainly have its 150 anniversary next year).

Something that i really like about the big apple is the park, it makes it possible to just relax from the city madness and get away from the chaos. But another thing, the nature is not that far from the urban environment and that takes the thoughts right back to home, where i can get on the bike for 10 minutes and be out on the country side. Not that central park equals to the red barns and Pig Farms, but it makes me positive about the future. Thank you for letting me tell you why i think i love New York have a great tuesday morning and enjoy work.

Dude: Agreed!!!That park is impresive!!! Just love all the biodiversity that u can find in there. More pluses in this park: all the activities u can do in there ,skatting, doing a pic nic, visiting the zoo,the lake, strawberry fields, the sculptures, the fountain, taking a very tourist horse ride ,catching a free concert or theatre show, doing a classical pic nic with some deli dellicatessens, icluded: wine, berrys, cheese and bread or eating at the deliciouss Tavern on the Green or at the Lake restaurant.
And what about the next I <3 NYC points:
-The high sense of fashion of new yorkers, they all have a radical style. The streets looks like a catwalk. And the styles can be so divers u can find hip-hopers, hyppies, fashonistas etc…
-The great variety of art in the streets , u can find performers that r very good in the streets. Or just walking by and hear a drum and base frome beat that’s comming out of a window.
-People in general always says that USA don’t have history cause is very new, but in NYC u can find out that that’s one of the most historical spots in USA land. U can find it in Ellis Island where it all began or just around manhattan for example at the Ground Zero (where the vibbe is horrible , very dark and u can find out that lots of ppl that dyied in there were latin , cause are the ones that where found in the morning , doing the cleaning services), cause history is under construction everyday. Or u just can c the Dakota building or diffent neighborhoods.
And the list continues but i dont want make u sleepy haha.
Cheers,
