Jamie T - the new party starter

Jamie Treays born 1986 in the area Wimbledon in London. In my eyes this is a very talented young sing&song writer. His first big hit in England was the single Sheila it went really good, and now he has released his album and the next hit was If You Got The Money (right click - save as) and there you go a give away Mp3.

So my word on this is download, shove it in to iTunes or whatever you use. Crank some beers open and have a party, and play If You’ve Got The Money and i can assure you that some people will start and you will end up with a super good party vibes.

Kanye West ‘Launches’ his new Pastelle Clothing Line

Hip-hop and fashion extraordinaire along with alot of other things, Kanye West is finally ready to unleash his latest project to the world. Months and months of hype have built up, including speculation of collaborations with Nigo of A Bathing Ape Fame, and Jonas Bevacqua from L-R-G among other highly acclaimed fashion designers. But Kanye has come back with British designer Kim Jones who was recently appointed Creative director of Dunhill and named designer of the year by the British Fashion Council. Also made famous when he made the collection Umbro by Kim Jones

In a recent magazine article some previews are given which features some of the line modelled by Kanye himself, label-mate Rhianna and fellow rapper Lupe Fiasco. Check out the pics below, although it is not enough for me to make a judgement on, but I’m sure Kanye will come through with something that will blow us away.
Pastelle - soon available

The Grass is always greener on the other side

This is a really nice concept, mowing the lawn is very rarely fun. But what if a robot does it it for you, and not only that. It gathers together the grass and spits it out as small balls or discs, your pick.

The chance that this idea will go into production is very small I’m afaraid. But nice to know that there’s people with great fun ideas.

Why so serious

The Dark Knight… I’ll just give it to you in one word, Heath Ledger. I went to see it a couple of weeks ago after a long long waiting, i tried to go like 14 days in a row before me and my girlfriend finally got a night of together. I’m a huge Batman fan and this was no disappointment, the length of the movie and the dramaturgic build just blew me of. There are probable loads of you people out there that have seen this already and are way past, I’m not past and i don’t think i’ll ever be. [See Dark Knight Trailer]

Retro Rojo Headphones

Personally i use the iPhone head jacks or the WESC headphones, but i think i found a new pair of babies, the Retro Rojo Headphones. One of the big reasons is that it’s supported by the iPhone and has a “answer call” button, and the main reason is that they are so damn good looking. I love the retro style and i like bright colors, like the Ericsson Cobra (Ericofon) telephone from 1954. You can these days buy replicas, however the original is the one and only phone for me. So if i get my hands on the Rojo Headphones I’ll give you a review on them.

Nikon D90 the dSLR Arms Race is on

So i just want to point out that we are not dSLR fan boys, but the thing is that the Arms Race is just crazy. Yesterday we got a new Canon dSLR and well today Nikon presented their new Pro-Amateur dSLR, the D90. The latest hour or two i have been browsing the Chase Jarvis site, and i also looked at the video they have made due to the Nikon D90 (yes Nikon gave Chase Jarvis crew a bunch of D90’s to test)

This is one of those things i like about Nikon, they give things in the hands of the users and listen to them and together they give back the best photography products on the earth.

Some of the tech:
- 12.3 megapixels (the same luscious chip that’s in the Nikon D300)
- D-movie function (that’s right, MOVIE function. 1280×720, .avi format, HD720p)
- High ISO/low-noise performance (Nikon’s ace in the hole. I shot this at 3200 and dug it.)
- 4.5 frames per second
- 3 inch, 920dot LCD with Live View
- Pop up flash with ‘commander’ mode to interface with Nikon’s lighting system
- GPS tagging

Look at the Chase Jarvis video here, its so worth it. (D90 goodies)
