I think that more and more often celebrities are profiting the interwebs and are trying to make conection with their crowd ,just as ppl do with their blogs. For instance look at all the YOUTUBE contest that stars have in there, just like Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones,Flaming lips etc… In the las decade the thing about internet was about doing things for the individual and now is for the comunity. Look at all the social plataforms.Althought this is a paradox cause peeps interact with other humans through a computer in the solitude of their place ( can be a coffee shop, home, work etc…).And now what do u think???

And even if you are told that it was a small run item. That it is a rare guitar. That someone famous owned it (now this has a different kind of value attached!) it is not in Vintage Guitar Terms a collectible.
