The rice ter­races of the philip­pine cordilleras, if laid out end to end, would stretch halfway round the globe. if this in­ge­nious feat had been ac­com­plished in re­cent times the clearly enor­mous task would have seemed more than im­pres­sive, This is just amaz­ing, the ter­races was com­plete thou­sands of years ago when there where no machinery’s or bull­doz­ers, this is com­pletely hand­made. There are a cou­ple of places in this world with agri­cul­ture like this, its the Philip­pines, Bali and some parts of In­done­sia. This is truly one of the new 7th won­ders of the world.

  1. Not just an Asian phe­nom­e­non, I saw sim­i­lar agri­cul­tural lands in Cape Verde, just off the West African coast.
