Strange outcome, i was on my way of writing a review on the latest Moby LP - Last night. but i ended up writing about another amazing artist, Jeremy Larson. I’ve been listening to some tracks now and Im so sold, not to glorify him or anything, but the sound and his voice the guitar play, everything just syncs so beautifully. All this make me start thinking about what impact the internet really has had on the music scene.
Lots of big producers finds their material on Myspace or other online music communities. How would the music scene look like if it wasn’t for the geeky internet pioneers? I just stumbled on Jeremy a couple of hours ago, maybe a lot of you know who he is but i didn’t have a clue. So to wrap this up please hit over to Jeremy’s Myspace site and listen to some of his songs then go here to buy the album
Today - Jeremy Larson, preformed in a re-newish style.
Well the weekend is now over and we can look forward towards a full week full of news and cool things. We start of with a battle; between Mixwit and Muxtape both Mixtape editors online, witch easily are shared with friends and family.Lets start off by telling you what they really do, starting with Mixwit. You are here able to create a good looking embed flash file, you don’t need to upload any music you can just search and drag&drop in your playlist. The song come from Skreemr and Seeqpod, and of course you have the possibility to upload song your self as well. So what you do is that you create your 1- 20 track Mixtape and then you get a code that you can post almost everywhere ( they also have special support for over 30 online services ).To continue with Mixwit, the really good reason to use it is that you don’t need any music on the computer you creating your Mixtape on, and we have tried to look for odd artists and we have nothing to complain about and if you are missing there is always the possibility to upload your own songs from your HD. The other good thing with Mixwit is the retro look you get on the player and also that you have loads of design elements you can design yourself. Overall Mixwit gets 4 Superfamous medals out of 5. Now over to the other online service Muxtape, This service is also about creating Mixtapes, not as good and retro designed as Mixwit, but its overall a cool service. The idea here is that you can’t search for music but you can upload any track from your HD. And create a very clean and none flash Mixtape (playlist), but you have now Play / Pause / Stop buttons, no volume and no track slider. So those things are very poorly on Muxtape. So to give you an idea about how Muxtape looks like i screened it and here is an image of the playlist layout; Very clean but no good function buttons. And thats it about Muxtape, so conclusion; Muxtape really don’t cut for me and the upload is very slow, and there are now function buttons. So i give Muxtape 1 medal out of 5, sorry but you don’t really turn me on.So what about online Mixtapes; I love to say this but i think they are around to stay, especially Mixwit, the service is great and the simplicity around it, and no need of buying the music or no need of having it on your HD. This is something for all ages and for all sort of music enthusiasts, so to get the most out of your music sharing hit here

Im not the biggest PC fan out there, but i must say that this small little home entertainment box is fairly good. Its not as sleek as the Mac Mini but the Merium Home Entertainment PC is not a bad thing. The black glossy finish witch is removable if you wanna change color or maybe one that looks like cebrano wood.
The Merium allows full access to the internet and all sort of things you can ask for from a PC, witch also the Mac Mini has, so there is no difference there. The big difference is that Merium runs Vista Home Premium, those how like Vista probobly will enjoy this Home EPC. But for those who like leopard more i believe the Mac Mini is a more settle choice, if you are accessing the internet maybe downloading you will run risk of getting hit with viruses but not if you use the Mac.
And the size, Merium is small (9cm x 23cm x 26cm) but still the Mac is (5cm x 16cm x 16cm) and has more power under the hood. But, yeah there is one more but, if you like windows and you wanna run stuff that Mac don’t have (make sure they don’t exist on Mac 110%) this is a good choice. The price is 999€ for the Meriumand the Mac Mini goes for some where around 500 € (depends on how much stuff you stuff in there). So my conclusion is; Make sure you know what you want, and also think of the price, Mac is half the price and twice as good if not more, but id you are a Windows person and wanna dang out more cash for it be my guest but i would go for the Mac Mini.
We are not writing about the Oslo International Art House, but we are indeed writing about the Tables in the cafeteria. There magnificent tables are something that are well taught trough, the clean and industrial lines and the mystic in the whole floating part, makes this not just good in the eye but also an Art display itself. I think my companion here at WASF want to build one of these to his kitchen, Im not 100 % sure but i think something like this. And we now know for sure that it’s also scandinavian, so therefor gives us more right to write about it!
The People Choice Awards is the only gala within the amusement industry in US that allows normal people to decides who wins, and who doesn’t wanna decide?

I’ve seen some stuff online about Sami Rintala, But they have missed one of the coolest creations, The Element House. The House was built and done in 2005 if you wanna see it its in Bisan Urban Natural Park, Anyang Resort in South Korea. The Element House is not a house built to live in, its for the visitors of the national park to stop and take a break in the sightseeing. Rintala have chosen nice materials that blends in the surrounding nature, love this pause house! thx belowtheclouds

When it comes to kitchens, Im sold, i just love kitchens they are the hearth of houses. If you don’t have a working kitchen you don’t have a working home. I like the kitchen to be big but still cosy, i like spacious because i know i need it, but i also wanna fit in the office in the kitchen. That might seem strange to a lot of people but i love having the office in the kitchen area or right next to it. Fact number one; It’s so near the coffee machine, fact two; the kitchen is the heart, the family will go trough and you will meet them, fact number three; I simply love kitchens.
This eating space is from the same kitchen as the picture on top. I love the raw feel about it and at the same time it feels like this kitchen got soul. The mix of industrial and old home, wooden shelfs, the simplicity in the chairs. This is something that really speaks to me. What do you guys think?!
This is a common thing people do with their computers take a photo of the behind in the right angel and then uses it as a background on their desktop and creates an illusion of a “see-trough-screen”. This is one of the most advance once I’ve seen though. Can’t find the origin photographer of this photo, but if anyone do please let me know!
So this is the latest Photoshop Express and its available for everyone! The online photo editing application offers users 2GB of free storage, photo sharing, and some of the most commonly-used Photoshop editing tools, including cropping, resizing, converting to black and white, red-eye and blemish removal, distort, and more. I tried it out for an hour or so now and Im super pleased with the results!
This is what i did in 1 minute in photoshop express! What do you think of the result?!
The American XCOR Aerospace have developed a spaceship, Lynx. It will carrie two persons 60 km up into the sky at a top speed of mach 2. And when it hits space the idea is that it will hang glide back down to earth.
The year 2010 is the due date to wich paying customers will be able to take a flight with Lynx, hopefully cheaper then todays options. XCOR don’t have a price tag yet so we can’t tell you how much it’s going to be, but at lest its going towards the right direction. [A video of the Spaceship]

"This weeks Swedish" Is where we will try to highlight something or someone from Sweden. First up is busty blonde uber babe Victoria Silvstedt.
Since there is so much talk about Sweden and whether polar bears really walk the streets and if there is blonde beauty's everywhere I can tell you this much. One of these things are true, and it's not the the bears.
I know I could do this the easy way and just post a bunch of pictures and I bet most of you would be pleased. But since we here over at superfamous are a bit more "cultured" here is the 3 minute biography of swedish sweetheart Victoria.
Victoria grew up in a family of five in a small village in northern sweden. She became a world class member of the Swedish National Ski Team at an early age, unfortunately a shoulder injury at the age of 16 put an stop for Victoria's Ski career
Instead she entered the 1993 Miss Sweden Beauty Pageant. She was declared the winner and it was off to the 1993 Miss World Pageant. Here Victoria became a finalist and was discovered by a Parisian modeling agent and began a career in high fashion. Working for companies such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino and Giorgio Aramani.
In 1996 she was offered an opportunity to do a "quick photo shoot" for Playboy.
Which turned into December 1996 Playmate of the month and later 1997 Playmate of the year.
Victoria has since then worked with brands such as Nike, Renault, Coors, Radisson and many more.
She has also done a few movies. Amongst them one of my all time favorite
comedies Baseketball where Victoria does an outstanding performance.

To start off this new release with a new site we also start off by giving you a review on the latest album from Moby - Last Night. And to start with i need to amplify that Im really not a super duper fan of all Moby's musical work, but i do like him very much.
This album, Last Night got out 5 days ago on april 1st, but I've had the pleasant pleasure to been able to listen to it for almost 2 weeks now, and i have to tell you that the first time you listen to the album you kinda just go with the flow, and the typical Moby sound is there somewhere lurking in the darkness of the disco electro pop tunes. Over all a nice music experience, but as most of you know to really get to now an album you need to listen to it at least 3 times to be able to have something to say about each track or the whole album itself.
So i had lots of time to do just that and boy can i tell you that i really, i mean really from the bottom of my swedish music hearth like this album. The typical Moby sound that i was looking for in the beginning just disappeared, and now i can truly say that the "ooohh yeah..." with a flangered voice do turns me on. As one of Moby's poster says, "Disco Lies" and also the name on one of the tracks... It truly does, disco must be the music genre that lies the most.
To just quick hit the disco subject, i just hate those competitions in Disco dancing, where the competitors wave their hands and arms in big circles and for some reason try to fly! All this to some euro disco pumed-up song that really sucks. Thats a good comparing to what "Disco Lies" stands for, a lying disco dancer form eastern Europe high on street drugs.
Everyday it's 1989, well if you want the song with the most Moby feeling to it, thats the one. This retro, 80's / 90's return is something that i LOVE, yes call me a toy boy, or future hater, or just call me whatever you want, but know one thing, Moby is the architecture of sound, he lives in his one man studio on manhattan, eco lover, just want to party and live life. But even though he is a "Geek" he is truly an architecture of sound, he makes tunes that make your entire body wanna jump up and down endlessly until your brain almost but you in a coma. The sweetness and clearness in Mobys sound is something that makes him stand out in a crowd, also the fact that he is one of our times masterminds when it comes to sample and creating beats.
So to wrap this small review up, get the album, if you don't like Moby, you will after you listen to it. And if you like Moby this is a must have in your digital or analog collection. Super hyped steroid disco dancers in a underground music club, jumping screaming for more sampling by Moby, thats what this Album is all about.

Incredible, this must be the one of this years sweetest movies, along with Iron Man.
Did not find any good Flash embed to show here and frankly i don't have anything special to write about it either, i just want you to watch it!
Q:How come you got involved with design and art?
A: I've been drawing since I was little and I've always read a lot of comic books so probably that lead to illustration; movies and music where the ones that got me interested on design. My first job on the field was at the motion based studio Punga, working with them really pushed my interests to the next level.
Q:Does it run in the family? (The interest for design and art /fashion)
A: Not really, my father was an engineer all his life and my mother is a journalist, but maybe my brother is the closest one from what I am doing, he is studying to become an architect.
Q: How old are you? And do you think ages has anything to do with your sense for art and style?
A: I'm 23 and I think that the sense for art and style depends more on your personal interests than what age you have. Maybe some recent design graduates have similar style 'cause of their education structure; but it all depends on how much you love what you do, either you stay in a kitty sand box all your life or you become a great artist.
Q: You have done some amazing art that is influenced by Daft Punk, do you like Daft Punk? and if you do what's your favorite song?
A: Daft Punk is amazing, I went to one of their shows and I got blown away by it. My favorite song is Humans after All, it really gets me going. It will sound weird but I don't feel so inspired by it, love all the looks but what really blows my mind is At the Drive In, Mars Volta, Battles and bands like that.
Q:What is your favorite treat? ( like candy or other sweetness )
A: If you open my fridge you will only find candy and vodka, not food. So that's probably my favorite "treat".
Q: Give us a top ten on what's most played on your ipod!!
A: At the Drive In, Mars Volta, Battles, The Blood Brothers, Finch, Elliott Smith, Explosions In The Sky, Daft Punk, Ratatat and Radiohead, in no particular order!
Q: How fast do you run 1 mile?
A: HAHA that's weird. I used to run 14 miles in 50 minutes, so I think about 4 minutes the mile.
Q:Is there an artist you like or respect in particular? Some one who inspires you?
A: There are many artists that I met and really respect and admire, but there are 2 particular that I had the pleasure to work with. Tomy Di, the director of Punga (www.punga.tv), I learned a lot from him and apart from his great talent, he's a great person and friend. The past months I've been working with Roy Garcia at Rock Instrument Bureau (www.rockinstrumentsite.com.ar) , and like Tomy, he's a guy that really respect and admire, really inspiring person to work with. There is another designer that I would love to meet, his name is Alex Trochut (www.alextrochut.com), I think he is one of the greatest new wave designers in the world.
Q:Now to conclusion, tell the readers on wearesuperfamous some good chosen words and a thank you for giving me radical respect "speech"!!
A: There isn't much to say about it, I really love what I do and I hope some day I will get my name up, I never gave a reason for my father to feel proud of me, I hope some day I will even If he is not here anymore. No matter what happens, no matter how difficult it gets; if you love what you do, just keep going.
