Review On the WESC headphones

Ok i have had my WESC headphones for about 5 weeks now, i have been using them frequently and outdoors, indoors, walking, sitting, running and sleeping. There are some features i very much like and some that i like a bit less. The Elements are very good in fact the bass is way better than i though. And the treble is also good, if you change the EQ on your ipod/MP3 player you will find that the sound changes a lot.

The techs are:
Type: 30mm power drivers
1khz Sensitivity: 120 db
Impedance: 32 ohms
Frequence Range: 20-20 001 hz
Plug: 3.5 stereo
Cord: 0.5m + 1.0m extension
Weight: 143g

The parts i don’t like is that sometimes it feels like they are going to leave my head for a very short basejump down to the ground, this makes me feel a bit uneasy about running with them and do athletic things with them on, but thats something that doesn’t belong to the usual everyday basis. The other thing i don’t like is the small cables connecting the headphone element to the head arch. They are very small and very easy to break, so next version please make this part more durable.

Conclusion:
I like the WESC Headphones, in fact i like them a lot, so much that the only headphones i like more is the studio AKG headphones but the also have gold patterns and 65 mm elements. So if you are out for a headphone in the 60$ price range with a more stylish appeal you should get the WESC headphones. Buy them here [KarmaLoop]

I give the WESC headphones 4 out of 5 You got SuperFamous stars

The WeSC headphones range looks so cool and retro. I’ve just bought a pair of WeSC Bongo Art Series headphones and have say I’m VERY impressed with the sound quality.

I was a bit concerned that the sound would be poor. I was very disappointed by a pair of Skullcandy headphones I bought six months ago.

ive just purchased the wesc sitar marshmellow headphones which only seems to work with the new 3g iphone in mono, ( one headphone) if anyone nows of how i can get these to work in stereo please let me know

I’m interessed in buying a wesc headphone but i don’t know which one yet. I’ve heard that the metal stuff on the side makes that the headphone becomes bigger and bigger and that it’s contantly moving from you ear to your neck…
I don’t know if this is true, can someone tell me this

    thanx

DJenaaa; I personally don’t agree with the statement that the headphones tend to bend with time and get bigger, but i have also read online that this can happen, mine hasn’t and i think if yours do, you just reclaim a pair of new ones from WESC

Thank you for reading / Linus

    i agree with andy.
i bought a pair of $100 skull candy head phones not to long ago. i used them once and now they just sit in my closet. i used them 1 or 2 times but the sound quality frankly, sucked.

Wesc headphones have a better look and very nice sound the bass is suprising and deffinitly good enough for the avid music listener

I bought a pair of this model of Wesc headphones, and the sound quality was terrible. The bass was really really grainy. I took them back and exchanged them, but it was the exact same.

Compared to my old skullcandy headphones, which sounded fairly clear to me, this were pretty poor… of course my skullcandy snapped in two places a month after I bought them.. but now I have a pair of shitty headphones I just don’t want to use. I hate Wesc.

I was wondering, if now that you’ve had them for quite a while, you feel the same. My problem is I always buy cheep earphones that break within a couple of months (usually the wire) I want something that will last longer. Would you recommend these?

I’ve had them for a looong time now, but they still work, yes, i see what you mean. Cheep means less quality in for example the chord. My bid is that they are a good buy! Thank you for asking. Hope you’ll enjoy them!

Does anyone know where they still sell the Wesc sitar Marshmallow headphones?

i'm on my second pair of wesc headphones &…to be honest, even though initially i was in love with their design & how cute they are, i'm really disappointed with their durability.

it's not like i wear them out in the rain or jump underwater with them on or anything, but i kind of expected headphones to last at least a couple of months after basic wear & tear.

but my second pair (the oboe) is just like my first pair (the kazuki bongo) – they both have a problem with the wiring inside, & so now only one side of them works :S

good thing these have a one-year warranty, because they're really disappointing & i'm going to send them back at the first opportunity.

correction: actuallyy, for my second pair of headphones, it's not the actual headphones themselves that are broken this time around.

both pairs came with an extension cord :S i don't really know why wesc didn't just make one long adjustable cord, but maybe they thought this would be easier. the downside of this is the parts are more delicate since you're connecting two pieces of wiring together – not so good :(

i'm not very tall so i don't actuallyy need the second extension cord to make my headphones reach the ipod in my jacket pocket, but most people probably would :S so that's another design flaw. so i can keep mine for now, & then return them within a year for the warranty since they'll probably break before then.

to be honest, even though the headphones are appealing enough fashion-wise, i feel like wesc is more of a lifestyle brand & not an electronics brand, so they're just dabbling in electronics.

i'm not expecting these to last forever, but they shouldn't break after less than a few months.
